As the key component of the Solar Collector, the evacuated tube has a production process which is optimized in geometry and performance.
♦ The tubes are composed of two concentric glass tubes which are both half-spherically closed on one side, and fused together on the other.
♦ In order to use the solar power, the internal glass tube is equipped with an environmental friendly, highly selective layer on its outside surface. It Is thus designed as an absorber.
♦ This coating is protected within the vacuum gap. It contains a layer of aluminum-nitrite sputters, which are characterized by a low emission and a very good absorption rate.
